Product description

ORGANIC GREEN & WHITE TEA

These are the superhero ingredients for everything from acne to anti-aging. It is rich in antioxidants and nutrients. Green and white teas are not processed by fermenting, they are steamed. This allows the antioxidants to remain in the leaves, stems, and buds so that they are at their highest effectiveness in fighting the signs of aging. Green and white teas also contain polyphenols, which reduce inflammation, promote healing, and fight certain types of bacteria. This makes green and white teas very beneficial for acne prone skin. Green tea also contains caffeine which calms inflamed blood vessels that create dark circles, soothes puffiness and tightens the skin.

MSM (methylsulfonylmethane)

MSM is found in all living organisms and acts as the “glue” that holds together our amino acid chains – aka the building blocks of all tissues. It fights against wrinkles by inhibiting the breakdown of collagen. Its high sulfur content reduces inflammation and detoxifies the skin. As for the fight against aging, MSM enhances antioxidant usage, helping to decrease free radicals. It also soothes itching, hydrates dry skin and reduces scar tissue. And good news for rosacea sufferers – it also helps soothe and decrease redness in the skin.

SODIUM PCA

Sodium PCA is a naturally occurring humectant found in human skin that is a derivative of amino acids. It can hold 250 times its weight in water and pulls moisture from the air. It forms a barrier on your skin while also having anti-inflammatory and anti-aging properties. In setting spray, it creates a smoother texture while giving a cooling, quenching effect that plumps the skin.

DMAE (dimethylaminoethanol)

DMAE is an antioxidant that helps to tighten skin and reduce sagging, improve firmness and elasticity, smooth lines and wrinkles, and brighten the skin. It does this by promoting the creation of acetylcholine, which in turn promotes greater tone in the muscles. The result is smoother, firmer, clearer, and younger looking skin. DMAE penetrates beyond the superficial layer of the skin, making it a powerful method of dealing with wrinkles and lines – some antioxidants only affect the surface of the skin.
