5 stars because at this price point I wasn't expecting much and several of the reviews said they arrived broken. So I was pleasantly surprised that mine arrived intact and seemed pretty strong. As you can see I am an old woman, age 61, and my ears have been deformed since birth so I had to wrestle these bad boys on my ears and they held up to that. They don't hurt but I've only had them on for an hour. What you can't really tell is that they sparkle even in regular light. I went outside in the bright sunlight to try to get a picture of them sparkling but I don't think it really showed. I bought them to see if my daughter wanted to wear them to her wedding. But if she doesn't I'm going to wear them because I don't care how old I am I'm going to wear what I want, and these are adorable.
